Defect
On medium-duty trucks (fire apparatus) equipped with ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), insufficient clearance exists between the flow-control rod of the water discharge pump and the fuel and air lines, causing interference. Continued operation in this condition may damage the lines, resulting in fuel leakage or insufficient air supply.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the water discharge pump flow-control rod with a corrected part, and add a fuel line protective bracket to secure adequate clearance from the fuel and air lines. If the fuel or air lines are found to be damaged, replace them with new parts.

状況
ABS(アンチロックブレーキングシステム)を搭載した中型トラック(消防車)において、放水用ポンプの流量調整ロッドと燃料配管及びエア配管との隙間が不足しているため、干渉するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると当該配管が損傷して燃料漏れやエア供給不足が発生するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、放水用ポンプの流量調整ロッドを対策品に交換するとともに、燃料配管保護金具を追加し、燃料配管及びエア配管との隙間を確保する。また、燃料配管及びエア配管に損傷がある場合は、新品に交換する。
