Defect
The bushings in the link mechanism that secures the stabilizer bar to the chassis are incorrectly dimensioned, causing poor sliding at the bushing contact surfaces when the front suspension moves up and down. This generates excessive stress in the link mechanism, which may cause it to fracture. In the worst case, both link mechanism assemblies may fracture simultaneously, allowing the stabilizer bar to fall.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected bushings with corrected parts and replace the brackets with corrected or new parts.

状況
スタビライザを車台に固定するリンク機構のブッシュの寸法が不適切なため、フロントサスペンションが上下する際にブッシュ部の摺動が悪いものがある。そのため、当該リンク機構に過大な応力が発生して折損することがあり、最悪の場合、二カ所のリンク機構が折損してスタビライザが落下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ブッシュを対策品と交換するとともに、ブラケットを対策品または新品に交換する。
