Defect

The clutch pulley on the alternator has insufficient sealing, allowing internal lubricating oil to leak out. This causes clutch damage and abnormal noise. If the vehicle continues to be operated in this condition, in the worst case, the pulley may detach.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, the alternator manufacturer is confirmed. If the vehicle is identified as affected, the alternator is replaced with a corrected part.

状況

発電機において、プーリーに設けたクラッチのシール性が不足しているため、クラッチ内部の潤滑油が流出しクラッチが破損して異音が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、当該プーリーが脱落するおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該発電機の製造メーカーを確認し、対象の場合は対策品と交換する。
