Defect
The alternator mounting bracket on automatic transmission diesel engine vehicles has insufficient strength. Engine vibration may cause the bracket to crack and, in the worst case, the alternator may fall into the engine compartment. Loss of charging function may follow, leading to engine stall and an inability to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected bracket with a corrected part.

状況
② 自動変速機付きディーゼルエンジン車の発電機を取り付けるためのブラケットの強度 が不足しているため、エンジンの振動により亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、最 悪の場合、発電機がエンジンルーム内に脱落し、充電機能が損なわれ、エンジンが停止 し再始動ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
②全車両、当該ブラケットを対策品と交換する。
