Defect
The heat treatment method applied during the rust-prevention process for the radiator hose clamps—which secure both ends of the engine coolant hoses—was improper, leaving some clamps with insufficient clamping force. Continued use allows the radiator hose to separate and coolant to leak. In the worst case, the engine may overheat.
Corrective action
Inspect the radiator hose clamps on all vehicles. Replace any clamp with insufficient clamping force with a conforming replacement part.

状況
原動機の冷却水用ホース両端を固定するラジエータホースバンドの防錆加工時の熱処理方法が不適切なため、当該バンドの締め力が不足しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ラジエータホースが抜けて冷却水が流出し、最悪の場合、オーバーヒートするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ラジエータホースバンドを点検し、締め力が不足しているものは良品のバンドと交換する。
