Defect
The seating surface of the rear wheel lug nuts was painted during manufacturing. During vehicle operation, vibration and other forces cause the paint film to peel away from the seating surface, allowing the nuts to loosen. Continued use with loose nuts may result in the nuts detaching completely, and in the worst case, the wheel may separate from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, remove the paint from the rear wheel lug nut seating surfaces and retorque the nuts to the specified value.

状況
後輪ホイールナットの取付け座面に塗装が施されているため、走行時の振動等により塗装膜が剥がれる場合がある。そのためナットが弛み、そのまま使用を続けるとナットが外れ、最悪の場合、車輪が脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、後輪ホイール締付ナット座面の塗装を除去し、ナットを適正トルクで締め付ける。
