Defect
The pitman arm in the steering linkage has insufficient strength. Vehicles subjected to frequent full-lock steering maneuvers over an extended period may develop cracks in the pitman arm. Continued use in this condition can cause the pitman arm to fracture, resulting in loss of steering control.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the pitman arm with the corrected part.

状況
かじ取装置のピットマンアームの強度が不足しているため、据え切り操作の多い使い方で長期間使用すると、ピットマンアームに亀裂が発生することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、ピットマンアームが折損してかじ取り操作ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ピットマンアームを対策品と交換する。
