Defect
On the special edition model (manufacturer designation: Rider Stage 2), a section of the exhaust pipe in the noise suppression system was manufactured from a different material than specified, causing rust to develop during use. Continued use allows the rust to progress until engine and drivetrain vibration causes the exhaust pipe to fracture, resulting in increased exhaust noise.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the complete muffler assembly with a genuine part.

状況
特別仕様車（メーカー呼称：ライダーステージ２）の騒音防止装置において、排気管の一部に材質の異なるものを取り付けたため、使用過程で錆が発生することがある。そのため、そのまま使用続けると、錆が進行して、原動機等の振動により排気管が折損し、騒音が増大するおそれがある
改善措置
全車両、マフラー一式を正規品と交換する。
