Defect

The electrical wiring routed inside the cab is improperly routed, causing it to contact either the edge of the clutch booster or the joint between the clutch pedal and push rod. Continued operation allows the wiring to sustain damage, which may cause malfunctions in the lights, horn, warning indicators, and speedometer.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, a protector is added to the edge of the clutch booster, and the wiring routing is corrected with additional clamps to secure it in the proper position. If the wiring is found to be damaged, it is repaired.
