Defect
The electrical wiring at the front left of the engine is improperly routed, allowing it to contact the intake duct mounting bracket. When the temperature around the wiring rises, the insulation softens and develops cracks. In the worst case, a short circuit damages the fuel injection control unit transistor, causing the engine to stall and preventing restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reroute the affected wiring to increase clearance from the intake duct mounting bracket. Inspect the wiring and repair it if damage is found.

状況
エンジン左前部の電気配線の取り回しが不適切なため、エンジン用吸気ダクト取付金具と干渉するものがある。そのため、当該配線の周囲の温度が上昇すると、配線の被覆が軟化して亀裂が発生し、最悪の場合、配線がショートして燃料噴射制御装置のトランジスタが破損し、エンジンが停止、再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該配線の取りまわしを変更して、吸気ダクト取付金具との隙間を増大する。なお、配線を点検し、損傷がある場合は補修する。
