Defect
Excessive air discharge temperature in the air compressor causes compressor lubricating oil to carbonize and accumulate inside the air outlet pipe. Continued operation heats the accumulated deposits, perforating the pipe and causing an air leak that prevents the system from maintaining pressure. In the worst case, braking force decreases, and on vehicles equipped with a finger-controlled transmission, gear shifting may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the compressor. If the corrected part is not already installed, replace the compressor, air piping, and coolant piping with corrected parts, and clean the air supply line up to the air dryer.

状況
エアコンプレッサのエア吐出温度が高いため、エアアウトレットパイプ内部にコンプレッサの潤滑油が炭化して堆積する場合がある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該パイプ内部の堆積物が加熱されてパイプに穴があき、エアが漏れて充填できなくなり、最悪の場合、制動力が低下する、又は、フィンガコントロール変速機搭載車は、変速操作ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該コンプレッサを点検し、対策品が装着されていない場合には、当該コンプレッサ、エア用配管、及び冷却水用配管を対策品と交換し、エアドライヤまでのエア充填配管を清掃する。
