Defect
The mounting structure of the gear-change lever installed on the transmission is improperly designed. Repeated shifting operations cause loosening at the lever mounting point. Continued use makes shifting increasingly difficult and, in the worst case, the lever may detach entirely, rendering the transmission inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the gear-change lever assembly with the corrected part.

状況
トランスミッションに装着された変速用レバーの取付け構造が不適切なため、変速操作の繰返しにより、当該レバーの取付け部に緩みが生じるものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、変速操作がしにくくなり、最悪の場合、レバーが外れ、変速操作ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、変速用レバー一式を対策品と交換する。
