Defect
The hardening process applied to the stepped sections of the front and rear axle shafts is insufficient, leaving those sections with inadequate strength. Repeated high-speed cornering can cause cracks to develop at the affected area. In the worst case, the axle shaft may fracture, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the axle shafts with corrected parts.

状況
前後のアクスルシャフト段付き部の焼入れ加工が不適切なため、強度が不足しており、高速旋回等を繰り返し行うと、当該部に亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、最悪の場合、アクスルシャフトが折損して走行ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、アクスルシャフトを対策品と交換する。
