Defect
The connector fitting on the engine idle-up cable was manufactured with an incorrect shape. When the accelerator pedal is fully depressed, the fitting may catch on the return spring hook. This prevents the accelerator control lever from returning to its rest position, causing engine speed to remain elevated and not decrease.
Corrective action
Replace the subject connector fitting with a corrected part on all vehicles.

状況
エンジンアイドリングアップ用ケーブルの継ぎ手金具の形状が不適切なため、アクセルペダルを一杯に踏み込んだ時に、リターンスプリングフックに当該継ぎ手金具が引っ掛かるものがある。そのため、アクセルコントロールレバーが戻らず、エンジンの回転が下がらなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該継ぎ手金具を対策品に交換する。
