Defect
The contact geometry of the brake light switch is not suited to the electrical load applied at the contact points, causing oxidation to form on the contacts and increasing contact resistance. This results in poor conductivity through the switch, which may cause the brake lights to fail to illuminate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected switch with a corrected part.

状況
①制動灯用スイッチの接点にはたらく電気負荷に対する接点部の形状が不適切なため、接 点に酸化物が生成され接触抵抗が増大するものがある。そのため、スイッチが導通不良と なり、制動灯が点灯しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
①全車両、当該スイッチを対策品と交換する。
