Defect

The brake fluid reservoir tank's float stopper, used to trigger the low brake fluid warning, is improperly designed. During pressurized brake fluid filling on the production line, the float may have separated from the stopper on certain units. As a result, even when brake fluid level drops, the low brake fluid warning system may fail to activate.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the brake fluid reservoir tank with the corrected part.

状況

②ブレーキ液のリザーバタンクの制動液漏れ警報用フロートストッパの構造が不適切なた め、製造ラインでブレーキ液を加圧注油した際、フロートが当該ストッパから外れたもの がある。そのため、ブレーキ液が減少しても、制動液漏れ警報装置が正常に作動しなくな るおそれがある。

改善措置

②全車両、ブレーキ液のリザーバタンクを対策品と交換する。
