Defect
The alternator ground cable has an insufficient wire gauge. During charging, current may exceed the cable's rated capacity, causing the cable to melt. In the worst case, this may result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the ground cable is replaced with a corrected part. Adjacent cables are inspected, and any that are damaged are replaced with new parts.

改善措置
全車両、当該ケーブルを対策品と交換するとともに、当該ケーブルの周辺のケーブルを点 検し、損傷しているものは新品と交換する。
