Defect
A mold misalignment during manufacturing of the turbocharger exhaust housing resulted in insufficient wall thickness on affected units. Continued use may cause the housing to crack, allowing exhaust gas to leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the turbocharger and replace any affected unit with a conforming part.

状況
ターボチャージャの排気側ハウジングの製造時に型ずれが発生したため、当該ハウジン グの肉厚が不足しているものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると当該ハウジング に亀裂が入り、排気ガスが漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ターボチャージャを点検し、該当するものは良品と交換する。
