Defect
On vehicles in which the passenger-side airbag inflator was replaced with a corrected part, the airbag vent opening is undersized. During airbag deployment, this can cause cracks in the airbag assembly bracket or tears at the airbag vent. As a result, the airbag may not deploy properly and, in the worst case, occupant protection performance may be reduced.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the airbag module with a corrected part.

状況
助手席エアバッグのインフレータ（膨張装置）を対策品に交換した車両において、エアバッグの排気孔が小さいため、エアバッグ展開時にエアバッグ組付けブラケットに亀裂やエアバッグ排気孔部が破れることがある。そのため、エアバッグが適正に展開せず、最悪の場合、乗員保護性能が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該エアバッグモジュールを対策品と交換する。
