Defect
The parking brake cable has insufficient low-temperature durability. Cracks develop on the outer surface of the cable under cold conditions. Continued use may cause the cable to kink and the inner wire to break, resulting in loss of parking brake function.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected cable with the corrected part.

状況
駐車制動装置において、駐車ブレーキケーブルの低温下における耐久性能が不適切なた め、ケーブル外表面に亀裂が発生するものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当 該ケーブルが折れ曲がり、さらにインナーワイヤーが切損し、駐車ブレーキが作動しなく なるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ケーブルを対策品と交換する。
