Defect
The high-pressure pipe retaining bracket welded to the rear of the engine injection pump has an improperly shaped weld. Driving vibration may loosen and eject the bolt securing the bracket. In the worst case, the ejected bolt may contact the starter S-terminal, causing a short circuit during engine start and burning the wiring harness.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the retaining bracket with a conforming unit.

状況
原動機の噴射ポンプの後端に取付けられている高圧パイプ固定金具の溶接部の形状が不適 切なため、走行時の振動等により当該固定金具を取付けているボルトが緩んで脱落し、最 悪の場合、外れたボルトがスタータのS端子と接触し、エンジン始動時にショートして、 ハーネスが焼損するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該固定金具を良品に交換する。
