Defect
The clearance between the fuel check valve mounted on top of the fuel tank and the vehicle body is insufficient. When pressure inside the tank rises, the tank expands and the valve contacts the vehicle body, causing a crack to develop. In the worst case, fuel leaks when the tank is filled to capacity.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fuel check valve with a corrected part and relocate it to a revised mounting position.

状況
燃料タンク上部に装着されている燃料チェックバルブと車体との隙間が不足しているため 、燃料タンク内の圧力増大時にタンクが膨らむことにより、当該バルブと車体が干渉して 亀裂を生じることがあり、最悪の場合、燃料満タン給油時に燃料漏れが発生するおそれが ある。
改善措置
全車両、当該燃料チェックバルブを対策品に交換するとともに取付け位置を変更する。
