Defect
The material used for the element electrodes inside the ABS (Anti-Lock Brake System) control unit is inappropriate. Continued use may cause resistance at the electrode to increase, activating ABS during stops that do not require it. In the worst case, stopping distance is extended.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the ABS control unit with a corrected part.

状況
制動装置の制動力制御装置（ＡＢＳ：アンチロックブレーキシステム）のコントロールユ ニット内部の素子電極の材質が不適切なため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該電 極部の抵抗が増大するものがあり、ＡＢＳの作動が不要な制動時にＡＢＳが作動し、最悪 の場合、制動距離が伸びるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ＡＢＳコントロールユニットを対策品と交換する。
