Defect
On some vehicles, the ball joint of the front suspension transverse link was assembled without the ball seat installed inside the joint. Continued use causes abnormal wear inside the ball joint and, in the worst case, the ball joint may separate, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the manufacturing number (C24) of the ball joint. On affected vehicles, replace the transverse link assembly—including the ball joint and knuckle arm—with a serviceable part.

改善措置
全車両、当該ボールジョイントの製造番号(C24)を確認し、該当するものはトランス バースリンク(ボールジョイント及びナックルアーム付き)を良品と交換する。
