Defect
The mounting bolts on the frame side of the V-type torque rod connecting the frame to the rear axle are improperly torqued on some vehicles. Continued use causes play to develop at the rod mounting points. In the worst case, the rear axle shifts, causing the tires to contact the frame and rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Inspect all vehicles. On any vehicle with insufficient bolt torque, retighten the bolts to the specified torque value. Replace any damaged bolts, V-type torque rods, or brackets with new parts.

状況
フレームと後車軸を連結しているV形トルクロッドにおいて、当該フレーム側の取付ボル トの締付けに不適切なものがあるため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ロッド取付部 にがたが生じ、最悪の場合、後車軸が変位することから、タイヤがフレームと干渉し、走 行不能にいたるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両点検し、当該ボルトの締め付けトルクが不足しているものは、正規トルクで締付け る。なお、ボルト、V形トルクロッド及びブラケットに損傷があるものは新品に交換する 。
