Defect
The polyurethane connector cover located above the seat belt pretensioner has insufficient flame resistance. When the pretensioner deploys, high-temperature gas escaping from the device may ignite the connector cover. In the worst case, this can result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
Replace the connector cover on all vehicles with the corrected part.

状況
ベルト・テンショナ（衝突時に前席シートベルトのたるみを瞬時に巻取る装置）の上部 に位置する電気配線用コネクタカバー（ウレタン製）の難燃性が十分でないため、当該装 置が作動した際に同装置から漏れた高温ガスによりコネクタカバーが着火することがあり 、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該コネクタカバーを対策品と交換する。
