Defect
The engine control unit software is programmed incorrectly. When the heater is running and the vehicle is stopped, performing steering and shift lever operations simultaneously may, on rare occasions, cause engine speed to rise abnormally. In the worst case, the vehicle may begin to move.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected control unit with the corrected part.

状況
エンジンを制御するコンピュータのプログラムが不適切なため、ヒータを作動させて停車 しているときに、ハンドル操作とシフトレバーの操作を行うと、まれにエンジン回転数が 高くなることがあり、最悪の場合、車両が動き出すおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該コンピュータを対策品に交換する。
