Defect

The mounting bracket for the rear suspension shock absorber is improperly shaped. Continued use allows vehicle vibration to cause interference between the bracket and the axle housing, which may loosen the U-bolts securing the axle housing to the leaf springs.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, modify the shape of the affected shock absorber mounting bracket.

状況

後輪緩衝装置のショックアブソーバ取付部材(ブラケット)の形状が不適切なため、その ままの状態で使用を続けると、車両振動により当該取付部材とアクスルハウジングが干渉 し、アクスルハウジングとリーフスプリングを締結しているUボルトが弛むおそれがある 。

改善措置

全車両、当該ショックアブソーバ取付部材の形状を変更する。
