Defect
Improper manufacturing work on the vacuum tube of the brake booster allows residue to enter the check valve inside the tube. Continued use in this condition may cause the check valve to seize and, in the worst case, increase brake pedal effort above normal.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the complete vacuum tube assembly with conforming parts.

状況
ブレーキ倍力装置の負圧チューブにおいて、製造時の作業が不適切なため、当該チューブ 内にある逆流防止弁に残留物が浸入することがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、 当該逆流防止弁を固着させ、最悪の場合、ブレーキペダルの踏力が通常より重くなるおそ れがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該負圧チューブ一式を良品と交換する。
