Defect
On certain vehicles, the engine cylinder block contains a casting defect. Operating the engine under sustained heavy load may cause the cylinder block to crack, allowing combustion gases to enter the coolant passages inside the block. This disrupts coolant circulation and may result in engine overheating.

状況
原動機のシリンダーブロックに鋳造不良のものがあるため、原動機に大きな負荷のかか る運転を続けるとシリンダーブロックに亀裂が発生して、燃焼ガスがシリンダーブロック 内の冷却水通路に侵入し、冷却水が循環不良となってオーバーヒートに至るおそれがある 。
改善措置
全車両、シリンダーブロックを点検し、鋳造不良のものは原動機を良品と交換する。
