Defect

The bracket that retains the front brake hose to the outer tube of the shock absorber was installed at an incorrect angle, causing some brake hoses to be twisted. Continued use in this condition may cause the brake hose to crack. In the worst case, brake fluid will leak and braking force will decrease.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the front brake hose with a corrected/revised part.

状況

 前輪用ブレーキホースをショックアブソーバの外筒に保持する金具部において、ブレー キホースの取付角度が不適切なため、ブレーキホースにねじれが生じているものがあり、 このままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ブレーキホースに亀裂が発生し、最悪の場合、ブ レーキ液が漏れ制動力が低下するおそれがある。

改善措置

 全車両、前輪用ブレーキホースを対策品と交換する。
