Defect

On fuel-powered vehicles, the wiring of the temperature sensor circuit for the warning lamp—which is designed to alert the driver when the emissions catalyst reaches an abnormally high temperature—is incorrectly routed. As a result, the warning lamp does not illuminate even when the catalyst temperature rises to an abnormal level.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, reroute the temperature sensor circuit wiring correctly.

状況

 ガソリンエンジンの排出ガス発散防止装置の触媒の温度が高くなった場合に、運転者に 異常を知らせるため点灯する警報灯の温度センサ回路の配線が誤っているため、当該触媒 の温度が異常に高くなっても警報灯が点灯しない。

改善措置

 全車両、当該温度センサ回路の配線を入れ換える。
