Defect
The protective resin sheet installed around the wire harness bundled inside the C-shaped chassis frame at the front of the engine compartment was improperly mounted on certain vehicles. During the wiring assembly process, this allowed portions of the wire insulation to be damaged. Continued use may cause a short circuit in the affected wiring, blowing the associated fuse. As a result, headlights, turn signals, and other lamps may stop functioning, or the engine may become unable to start.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, install a protective rubber sheet around the wire harness. Inspect the wire insulation for damage: repair any damaged insulation, and replace wiring with damaged conductor cores with new parts.

状況
原動機室内の前端にある車わく（コ型形状）内に束ねて配索した電気配線を保護する樹脂 製シートの取付けに不適切なものがあるため、当該電気配線の組付け工程において、一部 の配線被覆を損傷させたものがあり、このままの状態で使用を続けると、当該配線が短絡 して、ヒューズが切れ、前照灯、方向指示器等の灯火類が作動しなくなったり、原動機が 始動できなくなったりするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、保護用ゴム製シートを取り付けるとともに、当該電気配線の被覆の損傷状況を、 点検し、被覆に損傷があるものは補修し、芯線が損傷しているものは新品と交換する。
