Issue
In the driver assistance system, an improperly developed startup processing program for the front wide-view camera may prevent the camera from initializing when the vehicle is started. As a result, the indicator lamp for the collision damage mitigation brake system and related functions remains illuminated even though those systems are inactive, preventing the driver from recognizing that the systems are not operating.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the front wide-view camera startup processing program to the corrected/updated software.

状況
安全運転支援システムにおいて、フロントワイドビューカメラの起動処理プログラムが不適切なため、車両起動時に当該カメラが起動しないことがある。そのため、衝突被害軽減ブレーキ等が非作動状態であるにもかかわらず表示灯がオン表示となり、非作動であることを運転者が認知できないおそれがある。
改善措置
