Issue
Due to improper molding equipment used during manufacturing of the air cleaner box, a thin resin membrane may remain in the blow-by gas passage, leaving it incompletely perforated. When engine speed is increased, blow-by gas leaking from the combustion chamber causes crankcase internal pressure to rise, which can partially dislodge the head cover gasket and allow engine oil to leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the blow-by gas passage for complete perforation. If the passage is not fully open, replace the air cleaner box with a conforming unit.

状況
エアクリーナボックスにおいて、ブローバイガス通路の成型設備が不適切なため、ブローバイガス通路に樹脂の膜が残り、貫通していないものがある。そのため、エンジン回転を上げると、燃焼室から漏れたブローバイガスにより、クランクケースの内圧が上昇し、ヘッドカバーガスケットが一部外れ、エンジンオイルが漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ブローバイガス通路の貫通状態を点検し、貫通していない場合は、良品のエアクリーナボックスに交換する。
