Issue
Improper assembly of the left handlebar grip onto the handlebar pipe, combined with improper thread machining of the handlebar inner weight, causes adhesive between the handlebar inner weight and handlebar end spacer to be crushed during assembly. This reduces the clamping torque of the screw securing the handlebar weight, allowing it to loosen under riding vibration. Continued use in this condition may result in the handlebar weight detaching while riding.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, remove the adhesive from the end face of the left handlebar inner weight, apply thread-locking compound to the screw threads, and tighten the screw to the specified torque.

状況
左側ハンドルグリップをハンドルパイプに組付ける工程及びハンドルバーインナウエイトのねじ部加工が不適切なため、ハンドルバーインナウエイトとハンドルエンドスペーサ間に付着した接着剤が押し潰されてハンドルウエイトを締結しているスクリュの締付けトルクが低下し、走行振動により緩むものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、走行中にハンドルウエイトが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、左側ハンドルバーインナウエイト端面に付着している接着剤を取り除き、スクリュのねじ部に緩み防止剤を塗布し、規定トルクで締め付ける。
