Issue
In certain driver assistance systems, an incorrect fault detection program causes a delay in detecting a brake light switch failure when one occurs. As a result, the warning message indicating that EyeSight is unavailable may not be displayed, and the collision mitigation brake function may not activate.
Corrective action
On all affected vehicles, reprogram the driver assistance system control program.

状況
運転支援装置の一部において、故障検出プログラムが不適切なため、ブレーキランプスイッチが故障した際に、故障の検出に時間を要する場合がある。そのため、「アイサイトが利用できない」旨の警告が表示されないとともに、衝突被害軽減等のブレーキがかからないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、運転支援装置の制御プログラムを書き換える。
