Issue
In certain driver assistance systems, an incorrect fault detection program causes a delay in detecting a brake light switch failure when one occurs. As a result, the warning message indicating that EyeSight is unavailable may not be displayed, and the collision mitigation brake function may not activate.
Corrective action
