Issue
On large buses, the stay damper mounting bracket for the swing-type trunk lid has insufficient strength. Repeated opening and closing of the trunk lid induces cracks in the bracket. Continued use in this condition may cause the bracket to fracture, preventing the trunk lid from being held open.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the body-side stay damper mounting bracket with the corrected part. On cold-climate specification vehicles, additionally replace the stay damper and hinge arm with corrected parts.

状況
大型バスにおいて、スイング式トランクリッドのステーダンパー取付金具の強度が不足しているため、トランクリッドの開閉操作により当該金具に亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該金具が破損してトランクリッドを保持できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、車体側のステーダンパー取付金具を対策品に交換する。 また、寒冷地仕様車は、併せてステーダンパーとヒンジアームを対策品に交換する。
