Issue
The mounting structure of the power steering hydraulic pump is improperly designed, causing belt tension from the accessory drive belt to reduce the clamping force of the pump mounting bolts. Continued use can cause the mounting bolts to fracture. In the worst case, the accessory drive belt may disengage from the hydraulic pump pulley, causing steering effort to increase significantly.
Corrective action
Add a reinforcement stay assembly to the hydraulic pump mounting area on all vehicles and secure it with dedicated bolts.

状況
パワーステアリング用油圧ポンプの取付構造が不適切なため、補機駆動用ベルトの張力により、ポンプ締付けボルトの締付け力が低下するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、締付けボルトが折損し、最悪の場合、油圧ポンププーリから補機駆動用ベルトが外れ、ハンドルの操作力が増大するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、油圧ポンプ取付け部に補強ステー一式を追加し、専用ボルトで締付けする。
