Issue

On motorized bicycles, the shock absorber link mounting point on the swing arm has insufficient strength. Continued use causes a crack to develop at the mounting point. In the worst case, the vehicle frame drops and the vehicle becomes unable to be driven safely.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the swing arm with a corrected part.

状況

原動機付自転車の緩衝装置(スイングアーム)において、路面からの衝撃を減少させる減 衰機構(ショック・アブソーバ)のリンク取付け部の強度が不足しているため、そのまま の状態で使用を続けると、当該取付け部に亀裂が入り、最悪の場合、車体が下がり走行に 支障をきたすおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、スイングアームを対策品に交換する。
