Defect
On police motorcycles, the bolts securing the rear wheel brake master cylinder may have been insufficiently torqued. Continued use in this condition may cause the bolts to fall out. In the worst case, pressing the brake pedal will no longer apply the rear wheel brake.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the tightening torque of the affected bolts. Any bolt found below the specified value must be retightened to the specified torque.

状況
二輪警察専用車の制動装置において、後輪ブレーキマスターシリンダーを固定するボル トの締付け力が不足しているものがあるため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の 場合、当該ボルトが脱落し、ブレーキペダルを踏んでも後輪が制動しなくなるおそれがあ る。
改善措置
全車両、当該ボルトの締付け力を点検し、規定値以下のもは、規定値で締付ける。
