Defect
On motorcycles, the weld joining the turn signal body to the bulb socket is improperly made. Vibration during riding may cause the joint to detach, creating a poor electrical connection. As a result, the turn signal may stop functioning.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the front right and rear left turn signal assemblies with conforming units.

状況
原動機付自転車の方向指示器において、方向指示器本体と電球を保持するソケットとの接 合部の溶接が不適切なため、走行中の振動等により、当該接合部が剥がれて導通不良とな ることがあり、方向指示器が作動しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、前面右側と後面左側の方向指示器を良品と交換する。
