Issue
On convertibles equipped with a power-operated soft top, the shape of the soft top cover used during top-stowed operation is inappropriate. Depending on the seat position, the seat belt may become nipped between the cover and the seat back. In the worst case, this may delay seat belt retraction in an emergency, preventing it from functioning effectively.
Corrective action
On all affected vehicles (soft top cover purchasers), replace the soft top cover with the corrected part. As an interim measure pending delivery of the corrected part, owners are notified not to use the soft top cover until the remedy is complete.

状況
電動式幌装着の乗用車(オープンカー)において、幌収納時に使用する幌カバーの形状 が不適切なため、座席位置によってはシートベルトが当該カバーと座席の背もたれに挟ま れ、最悪の場合、緊急時に巻き取りが遅れ、効に作用しないおそれがある。
改善措置
対象(幌カバー購入者)の全車両、当該幌カバーを対策品と交換する。 (対策品の供給に時間がかかることから、当面の暫定措置として「改善措置の対策が完了 するまでの間、幌カバーを使用しない」旨を使用者に対し通知する。
