Defect
The rectifier that charges the battery has insufficient heat dissipation performance. Continued use causes the diodes in the rectifier circuit to sustain heat damage, allowing excessive current to flow through the circuit and generating heat. In the worst case, the resin components of the rectifier may melt and catch fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected rectifier with a corrected part.

状況
電気装置において、バッテリーを充電する整流器の放熱性能が不適切なため、そのままの 状態で使用を続けると当該整流器回路のダイオードが熱害により損傷し、整流器回路に過 大な電流が流れることから発熱するものがあり、最悪の場合、整流器の樹脂部が溶損し発 火するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該整流器を対策品と交換する。
