Issue

The tow hook mounted at the lower front of the vehicle has an incorrect shape, which allows road-contact impacts at the vehicle underbody to transmit readily to the airbag sensors. As a result, the airbag may deploy at low speeds where occupant protection by the airbag is unnecessary.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the tow hook with the corrected part.
