Issue
The tow hook mounted at the lower front of the vehicle has an incorrect shape, which allows road-contact impacts at the vehicle underbody to transmit readily to the airbag sensors. As a result, the airbag may deploy at low speeds where occupant protection by the airbag is unnecessary.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the tow hook with the corrected part.

状況
車両前方下部に取り付けられている牽引フックの形状が不適切なため、路面干渉時に車 両下部からの衝撃がエアバッグのセンサーに伝わりやすく、エアバッグによる乗員保護が 不必要な低速時においてエアバッグが開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該牽引フックを対策品と交換する。
