Defect

The battery ground terminal is secured at an incorrect position, which may cause electrical resistance to increase at the ground terminal over time. Continued use may result in the starter motor failing to operate, leaving the vehicle unable to start.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, secure the ground terminal at the correct position and replace the outer protective tube with a heat-resistant upgraded part.

状況

バッテリーのアース端子の固定位置が不適切なため、使用過程において、アース端子に電気が流れにくくなることがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、最悪の場合、スターターモータが作動せず始動不能となるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、アース端子を正規な位置に固定するとともに、外装チューブを耐熱性向上品に交換する。
