Defect
The wiring harness routing design is incorrect, allowing the harness to contact the underside of the fuel tank. Continued use allows driving vibration to wear through the harness insulation, causing a short circuit and engine malfunction. In the worst case, the engine may stall while driving.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the wiring harness will be inspected and rerouted to the correct position. Where insulation wear is found, the harness will be repaired or replaced with a new unit.

状況
ワイヤーハーネスの配索設計が不適切なため、燃料タンク裏面と干渉していることがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、走行中の振動によりワイヤーハーネスの被覆が摩耗して短絡し、エンジン不調となり、最悪の場合、走行中にエンジンが停止するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ワイヤーハーネスを点検し、配索を適切な位置に変更するとともに、被覆に摩耗を確認した場合は、補修またはワイヤーハーネス一式を新品に交換する。
