Defect
The battery ground terminal is secured at an incorrect location, causing electrical resistance to increase at the ground terminal during service. Continued use may, in the worst case, prevent the starter motor from operating, leaving the vehicle unable to start.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the ground terminal will be secured at the correct location and the protective outer tube will be replaced with a heat-resistance-improved part.

状況
バッテリーのアース端子の固定位置が不適切なため、使用過程において、アース端子に電気が流れにくくなることがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、最悪の場合、スターターモータが作動せず始動不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、アース端子を正規な位置に固定するとともに、外装チューブを耐熱性向上品に交換する。
