Defect
On forklift small special-purpose vehicles: (1) Improper design instructions for the tail lamps, stop lamps, and reverse lamps have resulted in certain vehicles with an overall height exceeding 2.0 m being built without these lamps. These vehicles may fail to conform to Safety Standards. (2) Insufficient design consideration of the rear reflectors has resulted in certain vehicles where the distance from the outermost edge of the vehicle to the outermost edge of the rear reflector exceeds 400 mm. These vehicles may fail to conform to Safety Standards.
Corrective action
(1) Install tail lamps, stop lamps, and reverse lamps on all vehicles with an overall height exceeding 2.0 m. (2) On all vehicles, replace the rear reflector mounting bracket with a corrected part.
