Defect
In the low-pressure fuel pump, the evaluation of impeller swelling caused by fuel constituents was insufficient, and the clearance between the impeller and pump case was set incorrectly. As a result, fuel constituents cause the resin impeller to swell and contact the pump case. This leads to fuel pump malfunction and, in the worst case, may cause the engine to stall while driving.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the low-pressure fuel pump with the corrected part.

状況
低圧燃料ポンプにおいて、燃料によるインペラ（樹脂製羽根車）の膨潤量の評価が不十分であったこと、及びインペラとポンプケースのクリアランスが不適切だったため、燃料の成分により膨潤したインペラがポンプケースと接触することがある。そのため、燃料ポンプが作動不良となり、最悪の場合、走行中にエンストに至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、低圧燃料ポンプを対策品と交換する。
